THE CONSULTANT WHO SELLS YOU ON HIS EXPERTISE ACTUALLY
STAFFS THE PROJECT!
Unlike some larger firms that use their senior people to
sell engagements then entrust the day-to-day work to much
less experienced junior staff, Mark Lederman, President of
Ventures in Healthcare, is actually part of, or all of, the
project team depending on the engagement scope and skill set
required. While experienced subcontractors may also be utilized
as needed, Mark closely manages and participates in each project
he sells.
Bringing a single point of focus to an engagement improves
the efficiency of the process and the quality of the outcome.
If Ventures in Healthcare is retained to serve in a project
management role for a system implementation or selection project,
Mark Lederman becomes the engagement coordinator and single
point of contact to coordinate all tasks and resources on
the project. The client's project sponsor (e.g., the CIO)
now has an extension of him/herself to provide the constant
project oversight, project plan management, task delegation
and follow up, and exception reporting that s/he doesn't have
the time to do on his/her own.
